CMS Wins 2017 SAME Small Business Award

MAUMEE, OH – CMS Corporation (CMS) has been awarded the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) Small Business Award for 2017. This award goes to a small business (SB) that has completed work for the US Army, US Navy or US Air Force within the last 5 years in an outstanding manner. CMS received this prestigious award due to a proven track record of working with other SBs in the industry; letters of commendation, awards, evaluations, etc. showing exceptional past performance for our clients; and participation in and contributions to various SB conferences.

The award was presented 16 November 2017 at the SAME 2017 Small Business Conference (SBC) in Pittsburgh, PA. CMS CEO Ernest Enrique and President Mercedes Enrique attended the SBC and received the award.

CMS was one of 300 exhibitors at this year’s SBC. Over 2,500 people from the A/E/C industry, including small and large businesses and government officials from the Army, Navy, Air Force, Veteran’s Administration, Department of State, etc. attended this year’s conference. Ernest Enrique noted, “We are truly humbled by this recognition. This award showcases what is best about CMS and garners us tremendous visibility among our current and potential future clients, as well as firms that may wish to partner with us in the future.”
