CMS is proud to be a good neighbor and a responsible corporate citizen. We support numerous worthy causes through contributions of both time and money. Our goal is to select groups or activities we think will make a difference in people’s lives, and make our communities better places to live and work. CMS is committed to donating more than $10,000 per year to deserving organizations and charities. We also encourage and support our employees to donate their own time and talent . We have found that dedicated volunteers make good employees.

By partnering with industry and business groups, CMS also promotes local business growth and development and professional standards. We are active members in the Society of American Military Engineers, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, the American Building Council, the Metro Indianapolis Coalition for Construction Safety, and the US Green Building Council. Our employees are active in these organizations, often holding leadership positions and we are proud to support their work.

Finally, we believe that sometimes the best way to make a big difference is by investing in America’s future. Our internship program offers a “hand up” to the next generation of business professionals, giving promising high school and college students the chance to gain real-world experience in finance, construction, and engineering.
