Safety Commitment

CMS has a strong corporate commitment to health and safety, as evidenced by our Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.82 and our zero OSHA recordable incidents. CMS holds a perfect safety record, having had no OSHA recordable injuries since our inception. CMS attributes this record to the outstanding organization and attention to fine detail entrained in our Project Managers, Superintendents, and Field Crew.

Due to the nature of the services performed by CMS, health and safety is a principal concern for each and every project. Our goal on each project is to establish personnel protection standards and mandatory safety practices and procedures. To accomplish this goal, CMS assigns responsibilities, establishes standard operating procedures, and provides for contingencies that may arise while work is being performed.
