CMS Project Manager Works with Church Group to Repair, Repaint Zambian Orphanage

From June 17-26, 2011, Chris Ackert, P.E., a project manager with CMS, was part of a small group of eight men and six women taking part in a mission trip to Zambia. Chris and his fellow worshippers from Traders Point Christian Church in Indianapolis spent a week in a remote Zambian village, repairing and repainting the main building of a local orphanage while sharing their faith with the community and spending time among the children of the orphanage. The villagers, the children, and the orphanage staff were extremely grateful for their presence and for the help and friendship they offered.

CMS was proud to support Chris in his mission by providing him with paid time off so he could pursue his calling to give comfort and assistance to people in need. The mission’s blog and video can be found at the following links:
